1  Using Arduino / Sensors / Easy color sensing on: November 06, 2012, 03:25:33 pm
I am working on a project with my Arduino Uno and want to use simple color sensing.  Specifically, I want a motor to run a certain direction based on the color detected.  I would only need two colors.  I don't have much experience with the Arduino or with coding.  I have looked at some color sensors online but it seems like they all require pretty extensive and complex coding.  Is there a relatively easy way to do color sensing, or am I getting in over my head with this?  Thanks for any input.
2  Using Arduino / Installation & Troubleshooting / Re: Blinking L LED on Uno. Can't get examples to work. on: October 24, 2012, 07:18:11 pm
I see.  I was under the impression that the TX LED was supposed to blink.  Thanks for clearing that up.
3  Using Arduino / Installation & Troubleshooting / Blinking L LED on Uno. Can't get examples to work. on: October 24, 2012, 07:02:14 pm
I cannot get my Arduino Uno to work.  I am using a Macbook Pro running 10.7.5.  When I plug my Arduino in, the on LED turn on and the L LED blinks constantly.  When I go to my network preferences, the Arduino doesn't show up.  When I upload the blink example, the L LED blinks a fast a few times and then the TX and RX LEDs blink fast.  Then the L starts blinking again.  I made sure that the correct board and serial port are selected.  Can anybody help?
