I think so yes Graynomad, as do i. Not sure why i was promoted. I do report on spammers regularly though through the Report to moderator link.

Uwe's count is low as that is his moderator account. As far as i know only used for moderation duties.

http://arduino.cc/en/Tutorial/BlinkWithoutDelay is what you want as example. It does the same as the blink example you pasted but doesn't get 'stuck' in a delay(). You will have to learn how it works because i already do and i'm not in university, you are.

Jeroen

The blink-without-delay would be a nice example of tactic needed.

My laptop doesn't have a middle button.
I just use CTRL-C & CTRL-V to copy  & paste. Haven't gotten used to right-click this & right-click that.

Often it's possible to use those when the right-click menu doesn't come up. It is possible in the serial monitor and in the black part of the ide.

Jeroen

As i mentioned in your other, now deleted, identical post. Please read "How To Ask Questions The Smart Way". http://www.catb.org/~esr/faqs/smart-questions.html
No reason to send a pm either.

Having said this we're not many people and we can't cover all areas as quickly as some of you would like.
I'm not questioning that, at all. I am a bit disturbed by the fact you seem to think we only want to receive.

Maybe there is a misunderstanding, the community could lighten your work load. Collaborating doesn't have to mean that you get yet another task that eats time. Though that will mean you have to share some reason about why you decided on things. Maybe the arduino team doesn't want to let go of some of that power. (you see, some of the interpreting/guessing there.)

Maybe you/we need to appoint one or several spokespersons. That way the team can have a single point to throw info to without taking much time in clarifying/discussions.
