Since version 0.14 Simple Dumping Monitor for Arduino library supports Arduino Leonardo-compatible both ATmega16U4 and ATmega32U4 microcontrollers based boards.

The Simple Dumping Monitor for Arduino library allows you to get dumps of either Flash, RAM and EEPROM memories, dump of registers, interrupt vectors table and dumps of timers.

FPGA is cool
But you can't make 328p-clone with FPGA only since 328p has several ADC, Flash, EEPROM and SRAM memory. It's more correctly to tell 50MHz AVR8 CPU at FPGA.

Here some guy wrote in his blog about this board, i've tried to order for ~68 USD. Ten sticks was available for ordering, there are no one during the request check. Another shop may be has it but for EUR ~110, next day - EUR ~70.
"I will buy it next year," I told myself but next day - wow! Arduino Due will come.
Someone may ask: why not to order from Europe or USA. Answer is: it will be costly since banking money transfer +~10% and shipping *~2 times = shop price * 2,5. So it's cheaper for me to wait 4-6 months from world-wide premiere of new Arduino board, then to come to one of local shops.

i dont know what i want to do with 32bit processing power though :/

32-bit controllers are 3.3V. It allows me to use more powerful modern devices - audio-codecs, FPGA, SRAM, USB, LCD etc.
But it's also requires from me to use more advanced technologies. Modern chips are produced not as DIP chips. So if 8-bit "shields" I've made myself since this is faster-cheaper, then 32-bit board is faster-cheaper to make by ordering or buying ready-to-use.
The answer "why" is simple 32/8=4. Four times more work.
"There are 128-bit chips," this is my 32-bit mantra.

It's definitely NOT using WDT expiry, pin pulling reset pin (not sure it works), or push button.
