got it working, reinstalled the drivers again, and now suddenly it worked

Hallo, ik ben een beginnende arduino liefhebber, maar verder als het spul van mijn starter kit ben ik nog niet gekomen.
Ik woon in Gent, Belgie en ben ook vaak in Maastricht. Weet iemand of er daar goeie winkels met goed advies en mensen die er wat vanaf weten zijn?
En wat zijn de beste online winkels, en dan vooral qua leveringstijden en prijskwaliteit?

Also, if i plug it in, my arduino script that was already on it, works fine. So it gets power, but that might be always the case i dont't know.

I have a new ASUS N76V with Windows 8 and i tried to install the Duemilanove driveres but the serial port thingy stays grey (cant choose com port)
Is the Duemilanove supported on Windows 8? I tried installing via the device manager there were no problems with install but it stays greyed out.

Don't know if you need specs but here ya go:
