I have a Uno with 6 analog sensors connected to my laptop via USB. Im getting many values from the sensors, and I have a max patch to map the values to many different things. so pretty much i am receiving data from the sensors, im not sending anything.
now i want to make this wirelessly. I looked up online and found out Xbee. so my questions are
1. do i need xBee shield for UNO to connect Xbee to UNO? or without the shield, can i just solder them together?
2. Do i need 2 xbee to send a signal from UNO and receive the signal at my laptop?
all i need is getting data from the sensors wirelessly.. if you have other suggestions like using Arduino WIFI shield, please let me know. HELP!!!!
i have read all posting about wireless connection, but i didnt really get it...
i have a Arduino Uno that has 6 sensors, and it sends out some numbers to my laptop through USB. i dont send any data to my arduino, so it is just a pretty simple circuit. but now i want to make it work wirelessly.
the distance between my arduino and my laptop will be around 50 feet. i want to minimize latency as well. im using a Macbook.
i found xbee, sd shield, wifi.. etc. i couldnt decide which one works best for my project.
