Hello
Can't seem to find answer to this question on this site.
I am wondering if the UNO or Meag can be software programmed to re-set itself and a given period of time?

Thank for the help  smiley

Andy
I got your program to work for me just a few mods for my situation you can look the code over if you want me to post it. And see if it helps you. I have to re-think my situation because this idea just won't work for me. I need to control 7 different messages and some have to be displayed at the same time. So it is probably going to take me more than on display to do this.
Thanks for the help.

Andy, Did You finally get the project working?
If you did I was wondering if you could share the finished projects code.
I am trying to do a scrolling message center with an 8x8 led matrix, the center would have 7 pre-difined messages and depending on the switch selected that would determine the message that would be scrolled across the matrix.
Thanks

Thanks Don moving the pin on the LCD to other than 2 and 3 seems to have solved the issue. smiley

Hello Folks
I am new to this site but after reading the postings on this problem I thought I will give you a another problem with lcd contamination of all the characters on the display.
I have and optical sensor reading distance and print out the results to the lcd. No problem with any corruption until I added a web server shield to the mix and as soon as I  set this line active , Ethernet.begin(mac, ip);The display never has the correct characters displayed again.
comment out this line and everything returns to normal, also does not make any difference if the shield is attached to the UNO r3 or not. Is It is something in the ethernet shield library???
Perhaps others out there have had same experience and this can be solved.
