Hi

Just a quick note to let you know that I have added another example to the library.

Hi.

For those of you that are using my ITDB02_Graph libraries and want to use the touch screen as well I have good news.

The ITDB02_Touch "add-on"-library is released, and is ready for download.
As always you can find it on my website: http://www.henningkarlsen.com/electronics/a_l_itdb02_touch.php

Why don't you want to use the Wire library?

I simply wanted to try creating the I2C signals myself to get some experience. It has nothing to do with the Wire library as such.

Nachtwind: I am happy you like my website, but it is not template-based, so adapting it to be used for playground pages might be difficult.

Hi

I have made an easy-to-use library for the DS1307 RTC that does not need the Wire library.
DS1307 Datasheet: http://datasheets.maxim-ic.com/en/ds/DS1307.pdf.

More infomation and download can be found here: http://www.henningkarlsen.com/electronics/a_l_ds1307.php

I know that there are other libraries for the DS1307 out there, but:
  • I wanted a library that were somewhat similar to my DS1302 library
  • I wanted to have a go at I2C without using the Wire library.
  • I enjoy coding  smiley-wink

I had some problems with the first unit I got. ITead replaced the faulty unit and the replacement works great.
I also bought another one that also works fine. I have only tested the units so far, but they seem to be fairly accurate.

I guess you are refering to http://www.nkcelectronics.com/rgb-lcd-shield-for-arduino-65k-color-k65.html.

I have not had any problems with mine....

Variable names are case sensitive. You have declared LED[glow]P[/glow]in1, but later you reference LED[glow]p[/glow]in1.

I actually got one of the $10-board in the mail today  smiley

I haven't had the time to fully test it yet, but the quality seems fine. The only thing I have noticed so far is that the leds are in different colors (power: green, and pin13: red) than my other "fake" board.

It even has the X3 header soldered in, whatever it might be good for...

Build quality is just as good as my other board.

Looks like you didn't set the time. This is what you normally would get if this is the case.
