What is it that doesn't work?
Can you send messages from an Arduino with the Tx module to the Arduino with the RX module?

The codes are a function of how you have set the dip-switches in the contacts.
The easist way to work out which codes to use is to use the receiver program mentioned above.

One of the other readers of this page got it to work a couple of months ago. He sent me a class with
codes for the Harald Nyborg contact, but I cannot find his source code.

Thanks for your help. I'll get a couple, and give it a try.

3  Using Arduino / Networking, Protocols, and Devices / Jeelab Dimmer plug on: October 25, 2011, 02:02:18 pm
Hi,

 On the Jeelab web page it says that their dimmer plug with the PCA9635 IC works at 3.3V.
 What confuse me a bit is the PCA9635 data sheets says the chip works in the range from 2.3V-5.5V.
 Based on the data sheet I would expect to be able to connect the dimmer plug directly to the 5V Arduino I2C.

 Does anyone have experience with connecting the Jeelab dimmer plug directly to the Arduino?

Thanks,
Michael

6  Using Arduino / Networking, Protocols, and Devices / Re: using dallas 1 wire on which pin? on: June 13, 2011, 01:30:58 am
Hi,

 You can use any digital pin. The pin number used for talking to the 1-wire devices are decided by line 4 in the tutorial (OneWire ds(10);  // on pin 10) .  To use another pin just type a different number than 10, i.e. OneWire ds(4);

 We have used 1-wire sensors for a floorheating system in my brothers house, and it works really well.

Cheers

I have setup the arduino as a tcp server in my home heating setup.
My argument was that the PC wouldn't always be on, so there was no need for the
Arduino to try to connect to it.

Hope this helps - it seems like you have posted the same question in the Italian section

 I have thought about automating my window, so I would like to know which actuator you use to turn the window blinds?
9  International / Scandinavia / RemoteSwitch library virker fint med Sartano fra Harald Nyborg on: April 17, 2011, 02:59:58 am
Hej,

  unsigned long code;
  unsigned long period = 320L;
  code = 172712L; //D on
  code |= (unsigned long)period << 23;
  code |= 3L << 20;
  RemoteSwitch::sendTelegram(code,11);

Thanks for your replies. I hope to get to work on the 2408 this week.
Looking at the datasheet and the 1820 code, I have a feeling that it should be fairly straight forward.

Hi,

 Do you know if there is Arduino code available to interface to the DS2408?

 It would be fairly easy to interface to it using the 1-wire library, but if the work has been done already it would make more sense to spend my time on interface that aren't already available.
