61  Using Arduino / Networking, Protocols, and Devices / Blackberry Bluetooth and Arduino. on: January 26, 2011, 11:17:47 pm
Is there a way to connect the bluetooth device to the arduino and allow it to receive data from a blackberry curve? I know nothing about blue tooth but am not terrible at C.

What do i need and has anyone done this before and wrote about it?

Thanks

Bill

the code is from the shiftou() function if that helps.

Hello,

What does !! mean? as in
digitalWrite(dataPin, !!(val &(1<<i)));
else
digitalWrite(dataPin, !!(val & (1<<(7-i))));

From a for loop (i=0, i<8, I++)

This little instance of code is very confusing

Thanks

65  Forum 2005-2010 (read only) / Syntax & Programs / Shift out syntax question on: August 18, 2010, 12:09:43 pm
the shiftOut() command with dataPin, clockPin, bitOrder, value) makes a lot of sense but I do not understand in the "Hello World" example of shift out the clock is pulsed. Would pin 12 (clockPin) look like a clock if an oscope was hooked up to it? Does anyone have a timing diagram to illistrate this command?

Thanks

The menu just does not seem to work with the KS0066U processor. I tried this to no avail. Do you have any suggestions?

Thanks

Does anyone have the library to control a parallel LCD with a ks0066u processor it is a knockoff of an HD44780 processor. I cannot get it to work while I can get the HD44780 LCD to work just fine.

Someone posted on here a while ago about them but the links did not work.

Thanks
