I have them, somewhere... I'll dig them out, and you don't need to use extra sensors, just usse the ones you already have. From memory the voltage range is between 0-5 volts, but let me grab the link for you... might take a while though as I think it might be on my work PC. I have a Scirocco, so basically the same wiring loom. Out of interest are you running injected or carbs?

Cool, so connect those four together on the same source. That's one sorted.
When you say increase the value of the base, by how much and what does that do? I'm guessing it makes it less sensitive and jittery?
And so far as "skill of the programme" I'm still starting out with Arduino after a long stint off doing not so techie things... kids, life, wife (although not in that order)

Apologies for dragging this thread out of hte grave, however seemed the most pertinent thread out of the ones I've found. In terms of wiring the 5v supplies can the 4 be wired to the same 5volt source? I'm waiting on a couple of components, and the stepper I have is 5volt, so I assume that they can all come off the 5 Volt source on the board? Also, in terms of running steppers, how many feasibly can be run off one Arduino before processing becomes too much. the inputs share common earth, so each one has one input Cheers, and apologies for the newbie question, it's my first foray into stepper motors

OK, so I don't particularly wanna break these by just randomly hooking stuff to them, so thought I'd ask if anyone has any hints n tips as to these stepper motors. These are the only markings that I can see on the body, means absolutely nothing to me whatsoever, and I can't determine their stepping range. And the four connectors... Any help anyone? Many thanks, Rich

Fair does... although I'm intrigued why you would want to control something whilst you're in a business meeting? Don't get me wrong, I can see an application for it, I just fail to see the application at the present moment for what you're doing right now I can think of many applications,, but nothing for discreetly controlling a robot or mouse pointer. Monitoring a persons muscle balance / movement ... yes, I get that. But not this at the moment :-?

Bloody bikes with flashing lights. I don't see any exception to this. Hmm.
I also had someone with a green light on the front of their bike last year who seemed to think it was fine just becuase he purchased it in a shop...
Anyway, nobody really cares that much. I would rather people have funny lights and ride on the road than no lights and ride down the pavement. Definitely... to both statements I have come close to speeding along there on a unicycle. When I get a larger one soon (hopefully) then I would have thought that I might be a speeding unicycle too! Grin
Now this we have to see... see if you can taunt a police car into chasing you and get it video'd. Stuff of legends in the making! ;D
