yes the arduino has 5V when its plugged in, at soon I will post a foto from de bottom of the board, i don't believe that so much because the pads was all well connected, they are not shorting nothing, the board has only one layer of varnish to protect the circuits and can not see very well the bottom but I make the possible to see something....

no, there is no pin gap, the cross that you see between pin 5V and GND is the cross that program have to move the component of pins that correspond to pins of arduino...

And yes its homemade, is that why I don't know if I need some  "extra", "different" connection between pins to make the arduino work with a shield ...or if it is because resisters are very low...

Sure

1) yes they are all well connected all pins are connected to pins in arduino..
and
2) no there is nothing shorting them between the two pads I have 20k of resistence, 10k of each one...

everything went well except when I came to this situation and realize that probably nobody has had this problem yet.... >smiley-sad

yes I'm sure that resistors are 10k and, the colors are orange black and brown, and at last the is golden...no I have nothing connected to the pads terminal...I mean, I have some wires but the wires do not have external power or is oin short-circuit...

the scematic is this and I have already verified and it doesn't have any CC

P.S. the arduino work properly without the shield but if I connect the PC with the arduino shield in place it lights up the arduino RX and TX leds and not recognize the card, but if I connect the Arduino to the USB and only afterarduino being recognized I connect the shield on top of the Arduino and it works correctly ... are you understand me?

Hy i have an arduino duemilanove with ATMEGA 328P and i have a shield connected him but it give me an error on the PC saying that windows does not recognize the USB device and the RX and TX leds do not turn off unless I remove the shield and connect the arduino without the shield .... so he can already recognize the device that I built to arduino work properly.
nobody is aware of the problem?I have looked in forums and I can not find anyone with this problem...
please help me, I would apreciate a lot...

ow sorry for the cross post but I start a post in a subject and after one or two replys they tell-me to change the post to another subject...
I think that the board haven't any short-circuit and the PWR led is always on except when I turn off the arduino...its really strange because the two boards work well but can not be connected with the boards connected to each other, I have to connect the arduino to PC USB and then connect the shield board to arduino....It's not necessary to do a chante anywere?

sorry I don't know what it means...do not cross post on this forum?explain me please...
and thanks for the replys...

No, nothing like that .. The only Pins that are in use are pins 2, 4 and 7 for input, 5V and GND ... I did not connect anything to pins 0 and 1 already because of this situation ..my shiled is this

The shield is connected to arduino pins with the match between them but I only use 5 pins and neither of them is the O/1 RX/TX.

P.S. the arduino work properly without the shield but if I connect the PC with the arduino shield in place it lights up the arduino RX and TX leds and not recognize the card, but if I connect the Arduino to the USB and only afterarduino being recognized I connect the shield on top of the Arduino and it works correctly ... are you understand me?

It's not well a PCI...Is more a PCB(printed circuit board), a board that I made to connect with Arduino but for what I realized, the Arduino bootloader conflits when it is connected to PC via USB...To get around this I have to first connect the Arduino to PC and then the PCB to Arduino so that the PC can recognizes the Arduino...

Hy everyone, I made a PCI board to connect to Arduino and they work well together but, when I turn on my PC, he does not detect the Arduino, I have to disconnect Arduino from PC, turn off the PCI card the Arduino and then again when I have everything to connect I start with the Arduino without a PCI card connected to him and only after the Arduino has been detected is when I can connect the PCI board to Arduino......
Anyone knows this thread?????Please try to give me a quiqly reply...its urgent.... smiley-sad

   Thanks....
