Well, I wanted one of them to be a relay of some sort, so I knew that 3 wasn't it, because it's only got 2 leads. #1 has some sort of coil inside, so I was wondering if that was an electromagnetic coil for a relay, but I guess not. smiley-razz I was mostly curious as to what they are because I've got a ton of them on a radio-controlled plane board that I'm scrapping, and was wondering if I could put them to use. I can't think of anything involving them now, but as soon as I throw them away I'll wish I had them, so I'd better hang onto em.  :smiley

Very nicely done! Love the flex sensor idea. I do think cr0sh has got a point to work some intelligence into it to give it a boost. Nice job!

I would highly recommend Adafruit.com's starter kit for about $65. They now include the Arduino Uno instead of the Duemilanove, but I believe they are very similar, but with a cooler silkscreen. smiley-razz At ladyada.net there's software links under the arduino tutorials.

I'm ripping apart my current electronics storage and desk area.... anyone have a layout they like best? I'd love pictures of other people's work areas.  smiley-grin Also, what's your favorite method of component storage?
