I’d reach into the microprocessor’s whatsit accumulator register thingy where it keeps things in consciousness, and put my foot over all the most significant bits except the least three, to stop the big ones moving, then using my hands, rotate the least three significant bits just once. Then step back and make a cup of tea.

…with a cool looking guy at the top with glasses!…

Sounds like Dick Smith.

(Does Dick Smith still exist? The last time I was in Australia was the late ’70s.)

Surprisingly, it’s not! I bought it, took about ten months to plough through it, falling asleep on the train with it more often than not, and when I finished it felt like such a huge weight off my shoulders, yet had contributed nothing except more confusion about that language than I had before.

But that’s not pertinent to this thread, so I’m not sure why you brought it up.

Tight flexibility is preferable.

And not to be confused with the Dobro Resonator:

And that gives you what version of the Arduino tool?

No.

There’s this: http://rad.rubyforge.org/ – it claims that it should work, however, it clearly doesn’t.

If you can find a way of detecting formants, then the resonant interval between the formants should represent a characteristic signature no matter what is said. Whether an Arduino can be programmed to do that, I’ve no idea.

I propose that Arduino C (or all C) be changed from tomorrow onwards to not require semicolons. In fact, I’d go so far as to say that Arduino C should be changed to Arduino Ruby. Then I’d be happy.
12  Using Arduino / Programming Questions / Re: brand new to arduino on: July 04, 2011, 02:26:44 am
Wouldn’t it be better if the compiler could be made to figure this sort of stuff out by itself?

As will the string library.

If you tie it to the object using a piece of string, it will follow the object.

From the photo it looks like it is manufactured by Nufkraps scinortcele — contact them and see if they can help.
