I usually suggest www.squarespace.com to people but it's not free.

Just yesterday someone turned me on to http://www.weebly.com/

I have not tried it yet but it looks similar to squarespace and they have a free option.

You get up at 4am to go to a specific store to buy the newest gadget NOT because you want it right away but because you know Woz will be there and you want a signature and autograph.

Yes, you should have no problem with JavaScript because it is run in the browser, not off the server. The server just serves it up like it would HTML. Your only issue is with space.

I knew about the images being uploaded but then again I followed the announcement. I was one of the key "features" of the app and Google+ working together to make it more simple to share photos. They all get uploaded to a private area only you can see, then it's up to you to share them out.

I understand your concern that even though they are "private" now Google has a copy.

I believe it's turned off by default. (I don't have an Android phone) Here is the page in their help docs...

Another forum I'm on gives you a set amount of time (10 minutes???) to delete a first post. Might be good here.

Www.spinrite.com has saved about 3 drives personally. Also just run it once in a while for maintenance.

Just looked up specs.

It's actually a Toshiba e300, e310 or e330 (can't remember which right now)and not an HP.

Looking it up online it's an intel processor and either 206Mhz or 300 depending on what model.

But yes, it plays music/video, displays pix, takes notes and you can open and edit work and excel docs.

How old is old? And what constitutes "computer stuff". I have an HP PocketPC that I believe is in working order but it's from around 2001ish.

Thanks for putting things into some perspective. I had not heard of these. I agree that this could be overkill for a lot of projects. Heck, the 328 is WAY too overkill for most projects I'm planning on soon. I've been meaning to play with the ATtiny's since they would do a lot of what I would want to do but 328's are just so easy and cheap so I haven't yet.

But I have a friend who has a big lighting project he's working on and the expanded I/O and increased memory would be perfect for him.

Anyone seen this yet? Looks like a "power Arduino"

Looks like it doubles the inputs and quadruples the speed and memory, all while using the same IDE and hardware form factor meaning it can take existing shields.

I've found some text areas are small so 2 finger right side by side works best and it's best if they are exactly horizontal to the page. Once you start scrolling it's OK to go outside the text box. It knows you want to keep scrolling that text field. Then if you have to lift up and scroll again you start in the text area again and scroll.

Good luck

Great. Thanks to you both. I'll try this setup tonight.
