Definitely not 1.6's fault. Works fine for me.

It would only really be useful for certain applications.
Usually pins are defined in setup and never changed.
18  Forum 2005-2010 (read only) / Bugs & Suggestions / IRC channel? on: September 24, 2007, 07:05:45 am
I'm surprised Arduino doesnt have a IRC channel.

Can this problem be rectified? smiley-wink

AFAIK you pass a pointer to the array as a parameter to the function and then just edit it normally inside the function.

Your sending human numbers but the receiving end is expecting computer numbers. smiley

Best to make it count from 0 to 255 and remove the DEC from the serial print line.
Also remove the \t (optional - it doesnt matter). Then it should work correctly.

I've got a annoying tendency to do strange things to make my programs small and efficent. smiley

If your program is 7.5k and you have 7k then you can very easily shrink it down.
Depending on your coding style and what your doing you could possibly get 8 - 9k to fit.

Alternatively if its constant then you could buy a cheap serial EEPROM and chuck it on there.
That'll give you up to a meg of dedicated space for a couple of cents.

Another way to make a seed is to try and wire up a circuit which gives a random output.

Using a analog input and something like temperature comes to mind.
A clock would also work well.

Not sure about waking up at a certain time but there is code to sleep the processor on the playground and wake it up with a interrupt.

2-How can I do it for intervals below 1ms?
You need to do something like counter++; every loop.
That creates your own arbitrary unit which is the amount of time one loop takes to complete.

millis() simply returns the number of milliseconds since the Arduino was turned on.

Here is a rough idea of what you want.

[code]
long offset = 0;
void setup()
{
offset = millis();
}

void loop()
{
  if (millis() - offset > 90000)
  {
    offset = millis();
  } elseif (millis() - offset > 60000 && button C == LOW) {
    move servo
  } elseif (millis() - offset > 30000 && button B == LOW) {
etc....
}

If you want seconds then use millis();

Can anyone help me on how to do such a thing that reacts on your body without one touching it - Don't need it to play music just get the signals in..
Just electromagnetic fields. smiley

Sticking your hand near it alters the field and the wire picks it up.

What hardware are you using to talk with RFID tags?
