Thanks for the hint!

It seems that the new Arduino broke the compatibility to Pololu's 3pi / Orangutan Libraries.
After commenting out most of the WProgram.h I got finally rid of this error message. But now I have several more about internal Pololu library stuff.

I am trying to get my old program running (build on Arduino 18) under Arduino 21. But all I get is this error message.

In file included from Hausroboter.cpp:51:
/Applications/ error: expected unqualified-id before numeric constant
/Applications/ error: expected `)' before numeric constant

At line 51 I have my variable declarations:
boolean hindernis;
long now;

And I cannot figure out what is wrong?

I am using Arduino 19. I pasted the library here:

The error occurs in line 109.

The library is located in ~/Arduino/libraries/Pololu...

If I just include this library in my code the error occurs.

I try to get an old program running which uses the Libraries by Pololu. When I try to compile I get the following errors:

PololuQTRSensors.cpp:109:75: error: wiring.h: No such file or directory

PololuQTRSensors.cpp:545: error: 'delayMicroseconds' was not declared in this scope

Why isnt it possible to include wiring.h in the Library? If I delete the include statement in the library only the last error persists. So it really seams to be related to the missing wiring.h...

Thanks, but sadly that's not the problem. Which is: The arduino shield looses connection after some time (may be 1 or 2 days), even though it has a static ip address and the network hardware is working fine.

So basically I need to reset the shield using software.

I am using one of those Arduino Ethernet Shields. Sadly, the connection is not very stable for long runs. I have to conclude, that the Arduino / Shield is the problem, since I reset my network hardware regularly. The Arduino just stops opening connections to my servers anymore.

Is it possible to reset the Ethernet Shield using software?
