Interesting, so this is a spectrum analyser....Have you also made the openlrs tx and rx yourself?
I would like to try and make my own openlrs boards and need some help, since the guys at the flytron forum are not answering my questions  smiley..
Firstly, one the original openlrs board, he is running the atmega328 at 3.3V and 16MHz right? Since he needs 3.3V for rfm22..Do I see correctly in the schematic?
47  Topics / Device Hacking / Making a Nunchuck connect to a rc transmitter via trainer cord - help with code on: August 14, 2011, 03:11:53 am
Well I would really like to fly my planes using a nunchuck (I bought one for that purpose since i don't have a wii  )...or control a camera on the plane (pan/tilt setup)

The plan is to connect the nunchuck to an arduino nano, which would generate a ppm signal which the rc transmitter turnigy 9x (connects to the trainer port with a 3,5mm audio cable) could read and send info to plane steering it  ..

I've found some relevant link but I can't stitch the code, because I'm code illiterate..It's too advanced for me...

The most relevant link is this one from Ian Johnston: http://www.ianjohnston.com/content/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=30:project-rc-ppm-trainer-port-joystick&catid=3:hobbies&Itemid=8#comment-49

He interfaces joysticks with arduino, I would like to interface a nunchuck.. Is anybody in?

Here is some info about connecting arduino to nunchuck but you probably know better which ones are good: http://www.instructables.com/pages/search/search.jsp?cx=partner-pub-1783560022203827%3Anpr2q7v5m6t&cof=FORID%3A11&ie=ISO-8859-1&q=connect+arduino+to+nunchuck

Basically I can be the prototyper but I need a coder  would love if someone has a passion to do this...I think it would be a really cool project that you coders could than brag about to your colleagues smiley-grin hehe

I guess it's then too advanced for me at this stage.... smiley-sad ....Because I don't have a clue how to change it...thought it was more simple to change....
I'll probably buy the pro mini which will work out of the box with this code...

So if I understand correctly everything would work without any modification to the code? The code is from one member from another forum but he doesnt have experience with the mega so he cant modify it. I hope its fine if i post the link to the sketch..

Here is the link to the code: http://radio-commande.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/09/MultiWii1_3.zip

I can post you the link to the code if that would be ok?

I would like to know what is the difference in code between Arduino pro mini and Arduino mega 1280? If i have a code written for Arduino pro mini how to change it to work on the Arduino mega 1280..

Thank you for the help!

Hi everyone,

I am not yet skilled in programming since I haven't yet got my arduino, it's a bit daunting for me so I ask you here if you could help me to adjust the code which is written to run on Arduino Pro Mini ( http://www.sparkfun.com/commerce/product_info.php?products_id=9218 ) so that it could run on Arduino mega 1280...

I guess some input, output pin numbers should be replaced...

Can someone of you skilled members please help me out...
Oh and the project is Multiwiicopter ( http://radio-commande.com/international/triwiicopter-design/ )

Here is the link to the source code and GUI:

Thank you for your help!!

Could the pan/tilt code also be implemented for use on an rc plane...maybe with some transmission with Xbee?
