The trackpad does all the processing onboard as per the research I did. And hence it can definitely be integrated with arduino as it outputs x,y. The statement made by one of the earlier members that it requires image processing to be done by the host controller is a misconception. Will keep you updated about this.

I am selecting the arduino NG or older board and is this IC physically compatible to handle arduino or am I just wasting my time?
3  Using Arduino / Microcontrollers / Boot loading 168A-PU on: October 28, 2012, 04:13:01 am
Is ATMega 168A-PU compatible (physically) for boot loading arduino? If so, I always get an invalid device signature error when trying to bootload it from within the arduino IDE? How to successfully bootload it?

Hello, I am also trying to bootload into the Atmega 168 A-PU , and I get the invalid device signature error. How did you get over that error? Please help.
5  Using Arduino / Project Guidance / Re: Interfacing keypad,lcd,gps on: June 03, 2012, 03:36:35 pm
Can I connect the pins of the 4x4 keypad with some analog pins ,instead of all digital? Will the keypad library support that? If so, how to do it?
6  Using Arduino / Project Guidance / Interfacing keypad,lcd,gps on: June 03, 2012, 02:54:56 pm
Hello,
Is it possible to interface a 20x4 lcd (having 6 pins connected on arduino), a 4x4 keypad (having 8 pins connected on arduino) and a gps module (usong 0,1 pins of arduino) with a normal arduino (Not Mega)? Will it have sufficient pins to support these 3 devices? Can I use any of the analog pins for the keypad instead of digital pins?

Hey, the full code is at : http://grasshoppernetwork.com/showthread.php?tid=652 , I am not able to post here due to it's size . In that code, you will see the function store at line 120. Please help.

Heloo, I was able to get the code for an R303a fingerprint module with arduino but, when I verify the code, I get the following errors which appear meaningless , this is my code:
