There's another thread ongoing about a 100W LED - with a massive uP heatsink to keep it cool.
!!! the idea is to provide light, not signal intergalactic beings!

Update, I removed the female USB connections and the bits that connected to the cigarette lighter and soldered on wires in their places. I tested it with a good adjustable power supply going to the input and no load on the output although, I think the circuit has a small load resistor on it. Results = 7v to 25v input = 5.01v output. Not bad at all. Input < 7v makes output below 5v and somewhat unpredictable. That's how those circuits generally work... (keep trying to reword this and it keeps coming out sounding like a pretentious ass, which is not what I'm going for)

I actually assume he eventually DID remove it, but by then it was powering the suit... but then why not place it ON the suit... In the cave he obviously couldn't because the only supplies they had were rudimentary, possibly "too close to the heart/too much of a risk"

I highly suggest watching Iron Man
The basic thing is he was demoing a weapon in Afghanistan, and was in a convoy that was struck by an roadside bomb, then attacked with his own weapons, a bomb blew up at point blank range and nearly killed him, bits of sharpnel remained in his body, and a Afghani citizen put a electromagnet in him to pull the shrapnel away from his heart, as it would kill him if it reached it, but it was powered by a huge lead acid battery, while in a cave held prisoner he built the Arc Reactor to power the magnet, then built the Iron Man suit prototype, which was basically a suit powered by the Arc Reactor with flame throwers and a turret etc...

@Valvax you are saying correct things but here the money wasn't good at all the guy thought to have all in one go, now thats something not worth it given the labour and other things i gave him a lot of functions that could be possible in 5K but he said "thats not good for me" then i just chuck it.
Oh yea, no, besides, something seemed off about the entire thing I was just... thinking to myself... Too many projects too many projects lalalalala....

Seems a lot of it could be done Detecting intrusion through walls, you could just have the robot communicate with a security system, when a breach is detected, robot goes into alert mode, and if something tries to get near it, it backs away (why not just give the robot armor plating?) *edit* meant to say not for the 5k quote though

2. pick up To meet someone, usually at a bar or party, and persuade them to leave with you in order to have sex. Used for in-person encounters, as opposed to hookup, which can also be used for internet meetings for sex.

Get a good (expensive) meter, go for one that's sold as a calibration meter
NEVER use this meter to check mains voltage, they're designed to be precise and work at lower voltages

Yep yep, yep
Never was very sure of the different qualifications of student, postgraduate is after you graduate college right? I'm only working on my Associates right now
Also, I rarely browse from school, and never from work (lol Wally World (Wal-Mart for those who don't know the slang)) I probably normally browse about 5 minutes at a time, but two or three times a day (have other interests which require more time at the moment)
