I've never had that issue :/
you will if your window is not maxed or have a lower resolution setting.  it's rather annoying.

That would make it the only forum to not have a post counter.
XenForo might be considered the tip of the spear in modern forum development.

They have a 'like' button, no dislike, and post count is hidden by default.  You may enable its being shown.

What they don't have is a flashing announcement that causes the page to linefeed up and down while you are reading.

Also, RS232 is pretty slow, so I'm not sure a cable delay on USB would even be an issue.

USB fails out of spec

The cable delay spec for USB might become an issue, no?

I'm guessing this is for a remotely operated vehicle in an underwater environment.

agreed, have ordered parts to assemble a prototype for coding, then miniaturization.  I will be trying to have three temperatures per sensor.  Ambient, circuit-battery, meat.

I'm very interested in seeing just how small a sensor can be made (thermo).

The goal is to create a probe that can be used in a wireless meat thermometer, so ultra-high precision and fast cycling/updating is not necessary.  Long battery life, small probe size and a 2-4m transmit distance are the objectives.

it is unfortunate someone (apparently) took the decision to ignore an import script for the new forum software.

How could that be a good idea?
