76  Using Arduino / Displays / Re: Opel TID Display on: January 07, 2013, 02:44:46 pm
Thanks for posting, I was looking at doing some mods to my MKIV (G) Astra and came across this.

Will this work for a mega adk?

However the Haynes Manual (UK service book maker) Has the pins as 9, 10,11, (8?) and 12 as (as previously noted) the road speed signal but the Haynes diagram is for the Multi display (I am a TID user swell!).

I haven't had my TID out since a painted my dash so I have a question.

Does the MID & TID have the same connector and pin count?

Also how hard would it be to also used an OLED display (Adafruit unit) with the TID?

Capitalization matters. You may think I am nit-picking but wait until you start coding in C. smiley

Agreed, Mac is shortened from Macintosh (or however it's spelled) as it's a name the "M" should always be capitalised.

I'm glad to hear it works, I've just moved to M.B.P and haven't tried it yet.

I may be missing something but as supply from the arduino to the track can only go in one direction wont you need additional electronics to change the polarity if the tracks?

I'm getting the same issues with IDE 1.0.1 !
My solution was to install IDE 0.23 along side 1.0.1 (used for Arduino Mega ADK)
And I havn't had the issue!

Also worth a look.
Go into Windows 7 Device manager and see if there are any problems in there (you will need to plug in the arduino's first!

You did install the Mega's drivers and set the board preference to the correct mega did you?
I'm using the mega adk that uses a separate driver config!

Yes please, what was the program?
It would help so we can avoid getting the issue.

How many forumites have a copy and got anything up and running with it?
85  Using Arduino / Project Guidance / Simple easy programmable muliti day alarm clock. on: October 25, 2011, 02:07:16 pm
I have an Arduino Uno, a 16X4 lcd, a 3X4 numeric keypad.
I need to build an alarm clock that can store different alarm times for each day of the week.
I'd like to be able to set the time via the keypad and have the lcd show the time and date and control the brightness but I would also like to control some sort of radio or mp3 player.

Can this be done with and Arduino Uno.

Are you trying to use a servo to pull the switch?  smiley-eek
Open the case and bypass the trigger switch.

Stai cercando di usare un servo per tirare l'interruttore? : smiley-eek:
Aprire la custodia e l'interruttore di bypass grilletto.

Just put a suitable transistor across the trigger switch.
Which airsoft gun are you using?

Basta mettere un transistor adatto attraverso l'interruttore grilletto.
Quali pistola airsoft stai usando?

192.168.1.1 is often grabbed by the modem router.
try 192.168.1.100.

if this is an ip issue, download and install wireshark and look at the output.

I gave up late into the series (got really board of it) how ever I have the vast majority of the bot, controller and headset including 2 Driver boards!
Thanks for the links, found the first not the 2nd/3rd links.

Just found bits of my Eaglemoss Cybot scattered through various box's and got me wondering.
Has anyone started hacking the circuits from this?
