Hi John

so you're able to upload sketches via network, this means your PC can talk with Arduino.

This means also that Linino can talk to the ATMega32u4 (it can upload sketches using avrdude)... can you try to upload the example provided on the wiki?

Otto, you're using SQLLite while giuseppe is using a different DBMS, MySQL...

Giuseppe, you may try to:

- stop mysql daemon
- create the new datadir on your SD card
- (optional) move the existing data
- change the configuration
- restart

Hi Mattew,

I can't try now because I'm at work but this guide may help you:
http://wiki.openwrt.org/doc/howto/usb.iptunnel

I think the required packages are included in the Linino repository too...

let me know if it works!

Hi John,

which sketch are you running on your Yun?
Are you uploading sketches via network (wired/wifi) or connecting the Yun via USB?

Hi Giuseppe

I'm not sure I understood your question...you can of course install MySQL on Linino and change the "datadir" property to a folder on your SD card...

for example following this guide from OpenWRT wiki:
http://wiki.openwrt.org/doc/howto/lamp#installing.and.configuring.a.database.server

well referring to this webpage:
http://www.ideasonboard.org/uvc/

your webcam should be supported by UVC: have you already installed all the required packages in Yun?

yes! I love PHP and using the php-cli module you can even run "shell scripts" written in PHP  smiley-lol

run the
Code:
lsusb
command and post the output... it seems from the dmesg you posted that the webcam is detected more than one time  smiley-eek-blue

Hi Vince,

well you have to decide which programming language you're going to use: python, php, java... all have libraries or functions to retrieve files from internet (= download your image) and to open/analyze images.

for example, with PHP you can use:

cURL to download the image:
http://stackoverflow.com/questions/6476212/save-image-from-url-with-curl-php

GD to get pixels' color:
http://www.php.net/manual/en/function.imagecolorat.php

Hi

to reset the whole image of linino, the procedure is very simple:
http://www.lucadentella.it/2014/02/03/yun-factory-reset-per-linino/

give it a try!
