Only thing I see that may be missing is a serial monitor.
Works great on the Nexus 7 to an Arduino Uno R3 (needs OTG USB adapter) - but I sure would like to see debugging messages.
Or can I do that with ArduinoCommander?

I'm going to add integration code fpr 3rd-party apps so you will be able to use any existing serial monitor for this.
32  Development / Other Hardware Development / Arduino Nano v3 power source autoselect on: May 07, 2013, 09:21:49 pm
I have not original Arduino Nano v3 board (but it looks exactly as original one). When i try to use it with ArduinoDroid app on android and attach it to my Galaxy tab 2 with USB-OTG support i can see "High-powered USB device attached" android notification which means it takes more current that tablet can provide. In similar case with Uno r3 i just use external power source and it's fixed. But Nano v3 does not have external power source jacket and trying to use vin/gnd pins does not help - still see the same android notification so it makes me think it just don't use it and still tries to get current from usb from tablet.

I've tried to detach it from usb and it works (so it can use external power source) but when connected to tablet it still shows warning notification. i've also tried to use another android device with usb-otg support (xiaomi mi2) and the same result, so i think the problem is not in android device.

How can i fix it?

Hi,

I did tcp implementations that can help.
It's still in work, but it's working for small (250) packets.

I would love to have comments

Great! Can you show usage by integrating into https://github.com/4ntoine/ArduinoCommander-ethernet/issues/1?

Nano supports 8 Analog inputs, Duemilanove only does 6?
Probably you're right. But it can not be detected automatically - for app it's just usb device.

Can't see seperate chip? Did you look on the bottom.
Oh, yes, i see - FTDI FT232RL

Page 15 of the .pdf file I attached.
I have no reason to believe FTD VID/PID is any different between chips.
Thanks! I will take a look. So is there any possibility to distinguish Duemilanove and Nano? It seems that there is no.
36  Development / Other Hardware Development / Re: How to identify Arduino Nano board as USB device? on: May 01, 2013, 08:06:52 pm
Nanos all use FTDI chip for USB interface, yes?
Don't know, i can't see any separate chip as on Duemilanove f.e.
Quote
vendorID/productID is built into the FTDI chip, nothing to do with the '328 that makes the board an Arduino.
See page 15.
Sorry, page 15 of what?
If it's so then i will not be able to distinguish Duemilanove (also uses FTDI) and Nanos. I hope it's not correct and vid/pid are different

Hello.

I'm working on Arduino Nano boards support in ArduinoCommander and ArduinoDroid app and i wonder how can i detect Arduino Nano as USB device. My Nano v3 board (not original) has vendorId=0x0403 and productId=0x6001. Is it correct for all Nanos? What is vendorId and productId for your Nano board? (if you have one)

On Android there is ArduinoDroid app, on iPad i'm afraid it's impossible..

Cloud-based IDE is a great idea, but it requires active internet connection.
So if you don't have it or you're on your way just use offline arduino IDE - ArduinoDroid:

hey it's nice...but when i changed the board and select ADK board after that compile blink led code it's getting hanged but if do the same process with uno board so it's working fine

Both case i did not connect any board with android device.

I've tested compilation and uploading with Uno and Duemilanove actually. Uploading to Mega is not supported yet for sure.
