i simply added inv and it works.... the _ was simply to optical make it faster to see which one i use
2  Using Arduino / Programming Questions / Re: rename lib's on: August 28, 2014, 06:30:40 am
so me adding _inv would cause trouble... that is what my logic says

so if i should stay clear -inv would be a better choice right?

logic i would add _inv before _h

but what is the _h there for? its that  what worries me

please....

i'm not  good at programming so why answer a Q with another Q...?

5  Using Arduino / Programming Questions / Re: rename lib's on: August 28, 2014, 06:15:40 am
might not be... but should i then add _inv before or after _h ?
6  Using Arduino / Programming Questions / Re: rename lib's on: August 28, 2014, 06:13:12 am
yes it will either work or not... if it does not work i have the problem that i dont know how to get it to work...

but allready now i get errors:

sketch_jan02a:28: error: 'SoftwareSerial_inv' does not name a type
sketch_jan02a.ino: In function 'void setup()':
sketch_jan02a:41: error: 'kamSer' was not declared in this scope
sketch_jan02a.ino: In function 'void kamSend(const byte*, int)':
sketch_jan02a:143: error: 'kamSer' was not declared in this scope
sketch_jan02a.ino: In function 'short unsigned int kamReceive(byte*)':
sketch_jan02a:155: error: 'kamSer' was not declared in this scope

sketch attached.... i have an idea that kamSer pin definitions has to move down to the setyp void?

yes but they end on _h... i'm just in doubt with double underscore

have attached the files... does it look ok except the 2 lines?
8  Using Arduino / Programming Questions / Re: rename lib's on: August 28, 2014, 05:57:24 am
is it as simple as searching for SoftwareSerial and add _inv to it?

but then what about these 2 lines?

#ifndef SoftwareSerial_h
#define SoftwareSerial_h

Hi

on a project where i read my heat meter (kamstrup multical 601) via ir interface i need to invert tx in the SoftwareSerial lib

i got the cpp file and .h file in a new folder called SoftwareSerial_inv

but the .h file is the same as the normal SoftwareSerial... its only the cpp that has changed.

now i put them in a new folder so they did not mix up and i have also renamed the file name to end on _inv and my goal was to say: #include <SoftwareSerial_inv.h> in the sketch

what do i need to change inside the SoftwareSerial_inv.h file so it matches up with the cpp file?

not a chance that you have spotted the errors? we dont...

11  Using Arduino / Project Guidance / Re: print oscommerce orders on: February 04, 2014, 04:33:20 pm
updated code is in github.... so same link applies

cut is now working...

have trouble with connection is failing ..... and have tested against a hosted site...

basicly i moved the cut command down to where it waits 30 sec to pool for pending orders...

so it prints the order fine.... updates to processing.... waits 10 sec ... cuts.... then connection fails and it tries again.... waits 10 sec..... cuts.... connection fails and it stops doing anything
12  Using Arduino / Project Guidance / Re: print oscommerce orders on: February 04, 2014, 02:33:57 pm
did as you told...

it does get that far....

for some reason the cut does simply not get executed... or maybe it just prints the letter b?

we have one strange thing going on...

before print it prints a "1".... then it prints what we get from the php page we call.... then it finishes off with a b we dont put in there knowingly....

but we have made a boo boo somewhere for sure

467 is only there so we can issue a cut via the incomming html.... but there is no command in the html to do a cut... and have tried to put the command in html but the cut still does not happen

and yess the last one is to print on serial out if it sees a cut....

one thing we have noted thou is that it does only one batch of orders.... it should do one batch and wait 30 sec and then do another batch.... but it does only one...

so my idea is that it does print the order but it just never gets so far as to cut and go back and wait the 30 sec

hmmm...

have been looking at the code for some hours... i only see the cut command been called in one line....

what lines do you see it beening called at?
