not a chance that you have spotted the errors? we dont...

updated code is in github.... so same link applies

cut is now working...

have trouble with connection is failing ..... and have tested against a hosted site...

basicly i moved the cut command down to where it waits 30 sec to pool for pending orders...

so it prints the order fine.... updates to processing.... waits 10 sec ... cuts.... then connection fails and it tries again.... waits 10 sec..... cuts.... connection fails and it stops doing anything

did as you told...

it does get that far....

for some reason the cut does simply not get executed... or maybe it just prints the letter b?

we have one strange thing going on...

before print it prints a "1".... then it prints what we get from the php page we call.... then it finishes off with a b we dont put in there knowingly....

but we have made a boo boo somewhere for sure

467 is only there so we can issue a cut via the incomming html.... but there is no command in the html to do a cut... and have tried to put the command in html but the cut still does not happen

and yess the last one is to print on serial out if it sees a cut....

one thing we have noted thou is that it does only one batch of orders.... it should do one batch and wait 30 sec and then do another batch.... but it does only one...

so my idea is that it does print the order but it just never gets so far as to cut and go back and wait the 30 sec

hmmm...

have been looking at the code for some hours... i only see the cut command been called in one line....

what lines do you see it beening called at?

yeah, but my own programming skills stinks more than a skunk spraying on you :-/

but well hope i figure it sooner or later

yep

also discovered other faults too

it should be able to do batch printing... it does however only print one batch... not one batch every 30sec...

and it does only tell the oscommece shop to set the last printed in the batch as processing... it should do it for all orders printed...

and the full sketch should only have the cut in one place... but likely we have screwed up so god that its getting called more than once but it never happens..

wish me happy bug hunting

yes it does.... but not in the loop void....

look for TM88.cut();

just before loop void starts

and we have that one in our sketch too.... for some VERY odd reason that does not work

that is excatly why i posted link to the example sketch.... it works fine
10  Using Arduino / Project Guidance / Re: print oscommerce orders on: February 03, 2014, 04:43:44 pm
so true...

now i got the code so far that i only need the printer to cut the paper.... the command is there but it does not fire for some odd reason

scratching my head here....

problem solved... it was the define statement that screwed up
12  Using Arduino / Project Guidance / Re: print oscommerce orders on: February 03, 2014, 02:43:44 pm
yep... just got an mail from a uk based friend that said the same

and now i just think what an idiot i'm

Error is still there :-(
14  Using Arduino / Project Guidance / Re: print oscommerce orders on: February 03, 2014, 01:06:49 pm
hmm will test

long time since....

got printer working etc.... sketch almost there... have an compile issue i can figure...

errors:

code is in github here: https://github.com/laird/OSCommerceClient/blob/master/OSCommerce/OSCommerce.ino

would be very happy for some pointers.... lib for the printer is taken from here:
