Just to tell you all, I published an update to the app yesterday and full search is now implemented (cc @clivewright) as well as some missing entries. I've also added the new documentation for using the new Arduino Leonardo as a Keyboard or Mouse.

The Android and Playbook versions are live already, but on the iPhone it will take a couple days before version 1.1 is reviewed.

@jensa just got the update now, it's looking great! Very impressed that you were able to implement a search function! It has made the app even more useful!!
Good job! smiley

I think a search function would be great, it would allow people to search for a term they're unsure about. I think all of us at some point have looked at someone else's code and wondered about a term that we've never seen before!
If I think of anything more I'll post it!

Hi Jensa,
I have just downloaded your app!
I wanted to say thank you for keeping it free and the resistor calculator has been VERY helpful!
I'm going to tell all my coursemates about it and I have also tweeted about it.
Thanks again

I've already done that search and no one seems to be in my position. ...

Hi guys, Thanks for checking this post out, I am a uni student in need of help!

I have an Arduino Uno, and Ethernet shield and a computer (obviously) and I would like to search Twitter for and @user followed by a #hashtag to then control my arduino.

My idea is that a user would post @arduinoproject #DoThis and the Arduino (or my comuputer) would pick this up then triggering the funtion.

How would I do this? (getting the Arduino, using an ethernet shield, to react to a command on Twitter)

Thanks so Much!

Clive

Hi JO3RI

I'm pretty new to this whole Arduino and Twitter thing so I was wanting to ask a few questions if I could smiley

Does the code that you have written and posted allow me to use my Arduino and ethernet shield to scan twitter (or my twitter profile for a specific hashtag) to then control something attached to the arduino?
 Thanks

Thanks Josh,
I'm further forward with my project now.

Thanks again,

8  Using Arduino / Project Guidance / Controlling arduino with a MIDI Input on: March 09, 2012, 10:52:17 am
Hi Guys,
I'm starting a new project where I would be controlling let say an RC Car using a Motion Tracking system.
However, the data produced by the Motion Tracking Software is MIDI.

Is there any way for the Arduino to take in MIDI signals and produce a voltage to control the car?
Any advice or links to tutorials would be a great help

Thanks
A University Student stuck in a project
