I have tried tow 100 nf capacitors in sires and ti doesn't seem to work
by the way i am using NKC Ethernet Shield and Freeduino Serial v2.0

if you are using the jeenode and not use wire/i2c
you can also use SDA and SCL as analog inputs

my mistake is should be pin 17 (on the arduino board its input 13)
try switchig rx tx i case you connected them wrong
and try to change the 4.7k resistor from rx --> dtr to rx -->  gnd

work in the spirit of this scematics (its meant for 5v)

in the arduino IDE try setting the board as Arduino Pro or Pro Mini(3.3 V, 8Mhz) with AtMega328
22  Forum 2005-2010 (read only) / Troubleshooting / Re: programming issues on: May 29, 2010, 01:06:03 pm
do you see on the pin 13 led that the board restarted?

try removing the capacitor 9DOF IMU alredy has one
and if this dosent work try manualy reseting the board on programing

do you mean the alternative serial port connection?

Its not wise to change. The RSTDISB fuse you need it to program the chip
The best option is to remove the capasitor conected to the reset line (and manualy reset the arduino on upload)
27  Forum 2005-2010 (read only) / Troubleshooting / Re: Keep the Servo still, when I plug in the USB on: May 27, 2010, 03:29:24 pm
Plugging the usb might do a reset to the arduino
Look at the led on pin 13 if it lights up then you might have a problem with the reset and you can try to disable it,(you will have a problem prodraming it)

In one of my arduino's i put a two pin header so i can disable and enable the auto-reset

what converter are you using for the usb to serial
i have got my serial arduino to work with Aten serial convertor
but not with a prolific one

30  Forum 2005-2010 (read only) / Troubleshooting / Can't upload sketch on: January 01, 2009, 07:07:54 pm
I am trying to upload a sketch and it doesn't seem to work
when i try to upload i get this error
Code:
avrdude: verification error, first mismatch at byte 0x0000
         0x0c != 0x00

and when i try verbose i get that the  verification receives zeros instead of the program
