The testing part sounds like a lot of fun!

It might be possible to work out some kind of time based adjustment depending on how many shots have come from a bottle. A full bottle might take 5 seconds to dispense while a nearly empty bottle 10 seconds, for example. I'm guessing it would be a linear adjustment - the arduino could tally up volume remaining in any bottle and dispense a reasonably accurate time based shot.

I was thinking it might be simpler to go with your bottle with a standard liquor shot dispenser (like the ones you push upwards with the glass underneath), and then use some kind of cam or other mechanical device to operate the dispenser when you need it?

Just a thought,

cheers.

Sorry Rob, I've been too busy on the BrewTroller forum to check this one. Well done on the streamed brew day. How are you going with the BT? Are you intending to pension your other system off and go that way like I did with the picaxe?

Hi Rob,

I love your work. Thanks for sharing it.

Oops, a bit of clumsy start.

I thought I had done extensive trolling on the forum but had not realised there were more than the top four forums ...

So I've found an answer to my question here. http://www.arduino.cc/cgi-bin/yabb2/YaBB.pl?num=1161557194/67#67

I've just ordered my first arduino and I'm trying to be patient waiting for it to arrive. I'm just musing on possible projects and was wondering if anyone has had success with multiple one-wire devices on a single input? I know it is simple enough to connect one but in theory many can share the one line.

cheers and happy new year,

Arnie
