When I connect the IPhone, nothing happens, the IPhone charges but that's it !

I'll try your solution... But what do you call library files?

Thanks anyway,
Franck

It's weird ; thanks... The USB port is working with the Arduino board and with a mouse ; on the over hand my IPhone can still connect on my PC so I don't think it's an hardware problem....

Hi there,
I've installed the USB driver of the Arduino for my MacBook (FTDIUSBSerialDriver_v2_2_9_Intel.dmg) and since then I cannot synchronize my IPhone through ITunes. I've tried FTDIUSBSerialDriver_v2_2_10.dmg and it's the same problem.
Does any one here have the same problem and a solution?
Thanks,
Franck

Thanks guys for your answers. I'd like to test the watchdog solution though. Not sure about my bootloader.

I found that:
CAUTION! On newer AVRs, once the watchdog is enabled, then it stays enabled, even after a reset! For these newer AVRs a function needs to be added to the .init3 section (i.e. during the startup code, before main()) to disable the watchdog early enough so it does not continually reset the AVR.

Here is some example code that creates a macro that can be called to perform a soft reset:

#include <avr/wdt.h>
#define soft_reset()
do
{
   wdt_enable(WDTO_15MS);
   for(;smiley-wink
   {
   }
} while(0)
...
// Function Pototype
void wdt_init(void) __attribute__((naked)) __attribute__((section(".init3")));
...
// Function Implementation
void wdt_init(void)
{
   MCUSR = 0;
   wdt_disable();

   return;
}

I guess that should work for my Arduino 328?

Thanks...
I have another board connected to my Arduino (WiShield), which I'd like to reset also. So I guess it won't work...

Hi there,

I thought I had read a post about that but I don't find it anymore... I'd like to reset my board in a program after a while.

Do you have any idea how I can do it?

Thanks,
Franck

Hi there,

I have connected my Arduino board to the GPRS Module and followed the tutorial. With AT commands sent through a terminal, it works fine, I can send commands and I get the answer in the terminal window...

What I can to do, with an Arduino program, is to send an AT command and wait for the expected answer. For instance if I send "AT", I want to wait for the "OK" reply.

I've tried to do it but it doesn't work ; the problem is that to make the Arduino board communicate to the GPRS Modem shield, a jumper is used (http://www.libelium.com/squidbee/index.php?title=New_GPRS_module_for_Arduino_(Hilo_-_Sagem)) thus making impossible to get traces on the computer...

Do you have any idea on:
- To implement such a command/answer function?
or
- How to get traces when the serial port is used for the modem? I really don't understand why I don't see the exchanges between the board and the GPRS module on the computer through the USB port...;

Thanks,
Franck

Merci,
Franck
