Can anyone direct me to xbox 360 wireless controller support in arduino 1.0 compatible usb shield libraries?

Why would a wireless controller use the USB shield?

Sorry, James. I posted elsewhere because this thread wasn't turning up any replies of any use.

It wouldn't, but the wireless transceiver it communicates with, being a usb device, would.

If it doesn't appear to a computer as a USB HID (joystick) device, and nobody else has already done it, you are going to have to write the USB stack for the transceiver.

I think all the Xbox stuff i proprietary.

Most people who hack the XBox remotes will hack the hardware side of the controller and let the build in radio communicate with the console.

I don't think the radio specs have been released publicly to stop aftermarket vendors from flooding the market with cheap controls and making Microsoft have to come down on those ridiculous prices.

this is an instructable i made on it a while ago the pictures aren't the best but it covers just about everything neccesary. you can get an rf module on ebay for 10 -15 $ and the diodes or voltage regulator are easy to come by online or at radioshack
