Title: compiler error
Post by: vahowdy on Jan 19, 2013, 05:19 pm
I'm running windows xp - arduino uno - arduino 1.0.3 - I can not upload a program or even compile a simple sketch. The compiler starts  (green Bar) but then I get an error.

This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way.
Please contact the application's support team for more information.
C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\My Documents\arduino\arduino-1.0.3\hardware\tools\avr\bin\avr-g++ returned 3

Any ideas?

Enable the verbose mode (hold shift in the version that says ERW on the title then click Verify). Paste here the log.
