If you're not living on the Edge, you're taking up too much space!

IR laser detection. When something moves at night it will detect the beam being blocked with no reflector at the other end. I've got a static demonstration working, next I want to put the laser on a motor and detect WHERE the object is.

I think everyone would like to have such ideas, as the way you formulate it would trigger anyones business instinct To be useful in everyday life you must look at what problems/ irritations do people have that are accepted without thinking. That is often the basis for good ideas. So my question to you is: - what are your small daily problems/irritations you accept as is?

*patent pending*(as in not existent yet lol) a simple system to allow the arduino to receive signals from the brain to perform simple tasks, perhaps upscaled eventually to control an android phone, so all those annoying times where you don't want to pull your phone out and txt someone you can do it with thought, or even as simple as scrolling down a long wepage on a pc, imagine if you didn't have to burn your scrolling finger out instead you had a mouse hid emulating arduino receiving trained thought pulses(binary) from your head to scroll down the page when you thought working vice versa and having the arduino talk to your brain would be very hard but one way communication with perhaps a small electric shock feedback playing back the binary command to condition your brain to control it much the way they have recovery patients controlling a mouse with there mind I imagine can be done if someone had the time and few bucks and if you do do it don't forget I gave u the idea(I call the first one!)

like Dragon dictate? One can build a recognition of a small set of words where the vowels of the words differ. Vowels are mainly a mix of 2 distinct frequencies
