Hi,

I have no experience in electronics (I am a web designer / developer), but I need your advice.

I am thinking of creating a small device that will allow anyone in the range to download data.
Essentially something like PirateBox, but I wish to have not only WiFi, but also Bluetooth access, maybe even IR.

The advice I am looking for is:
Can I use Arduino to build (or buy already built set) that will allow me to share data to any device through WiFi and Bluetooth. It should be completely open and I want my surrounding only to be able to download the data (no upload). And normally - if someone connects with their phone - no carrier charges - basically connect directly through WiFi and download data.

Thank you!

depending on what this data is, the Arduino might not be able to handle it.
