hi all and welcome to you all
im thinking of buying an ardino but unsure what one to buy i want to controle leds like as seen on this clip

wich arduino would suit me best

I would definetly suggest an arduino mega to simplify controlling that many things without extra hardware
from the looks of you are going to need alot of relays,and or ssr's to control all that with suitable drivers

thanks i will use mosfets to do the work of the relays just to find sutable mosfets now mm smiley-red

light o rama do a unit but its cheep but the software is rediculas in price

Search Ebay for "logic mosfet". If you use low voltage lights (e.g. 12V or 24V), it's easy to do. For high voltages you could use photoMos relays, or a high DC voltage with high voltage mosfets.

The stp40n12 I think is rated for 120vdc and is 5v logic level, up to 40 amps smiley-lol
