It's still a bit spendy but Rapid Electronics have a nice breadboard system  on sale at the moment: http://www.rapidonline.com/productinfo.aspx?clearance=1&tier1=Tools%2c+Fasteners+%26+Production+Equipment&tier2=PCB+Equipment&tier3=Prototyping+Boards&tier4=Digital+trainer&moduleno=74736

Pretty cool, but yeah, a bit pricey.

If I wanted something like that, I would probably make it on a protoboard and use a bunch of female headers.  Cheaper, and I could include only what I wanted.

yea its a nice board, I would use it, but not for 60 bucks, especially since for 10$ more you can get the radio shack one that comes with more stuff and has a couple extra features

57.49 British pounds = 87.338808 U.S. dollars
87 bucks...

Just buy some breadboards and connectors then make it youself.
