Hi,

Currently I have a quadrotor flying machine and a ground robot. My goal is to make the flying machine follow the ground robot by attaching Infrared LEDs to the quadrotor and tracking them using a webcam mounted on the ground robot. Is this idea feasible for arduino and how do I go about doing it? So far I have seen a video of the IR Leds of a flying machine being tracked by the webcam of a COMPUTER using matlab.

Sorry but I am quite new to arduino and I only know the basics of programming

What if I attach a laptop to the ground robot to do image processing from the webcam and then send data to the arduino board on the flying machine via serial communication? Is this idea feasible?

What is it you are trying to achieve btw? There may be a better solution.
