Topic: No Com Ports detected - Vista/NanoV3 (Read 426 times) previous topic - next topic

Hi All,

So just got my first board, a Nano V3. Already had Arduino 1.0  installed, Vista auto installed the FTDI USB converter device/driver upon USB-NanoV3 connection.

Windows device manager indicates that it has been successfully installed & assigned com port 2 - if I remember correctly "port_#0002.hub_#0005". Nano powers up and is apparently pre-loaded with 'blink'.

The only ports that show in Arduino are the bluetooth ports. When I disable the bluetooth device no com ports appear, even after repeated re-boots & re-connects.

In case of firewall conflicts I tried disabling Norton 360 & Teatimer (SpybotSD) to no effect.

Please help.... New at this. Cheers
