Topic: Arduino using USB or midi (Read 634 times) previous topic - next topic

I am trying to create a midi drum kit using the Arduno. I have five piezos hooked up to the Arduino and all of them respond when I test them with the arduino software hooked to my computer through a USB cable. Now I want to make each piezo make a different sound. I installed a midi to serial driver on my PC and have tried many things but I can't get any audio software to recognize the Arduino. I would like to do this using the USB cable but if I have to switch to midi then I will. Does anyone know a good way to have each piezo a different sound? What software do you use? Please let me know as soon as possible. I am doing this for my sound class in college and we have a public show on Saturday so I need to have this working immediately.   Thanks
