Water Avoidance?

Hello,

How can I go about sensing water levels above .5 an inch? Im looking to avoid water levels above 0.5 inches and maybe I havnt been doing a good job with my searches, but have not found much in ways of doing this yet.

You're trying to measure the depth of a puddle?

Just position the detector 0.5" above the normal water level. A simple two probe detector will pass current when the water hits them.

Alternatively use a static pressure detector:-

Or maybe avoid a body of water somehow. Im not sure how this might be possible. If I cant figure out a system for doing this on a free roaming bot, I could just make sure that the bot is being watched and doesnt commit suicide, lol.

Oh, Thank you, Ill look at that sensor, seems to do the trick. Im just doing some research before I dive into a project.
