We needed help on how to design a pulse oximeter clip.
The placement of the sensors, btw we are using arduino decimila as the pulse oximeter output receiver.

I'd recommend placing the sensor near the pulse.

Perhaps you might consider looking at a commercial device to see how it positions the sensor (whatever sensor it is you are using).
