Bigger Bigger Smaller Smaller Reset Reset

Hi all,

I have a small project and I need your help.

I have designed a circuit with a ENC28J60. I need the “ENC28J60” board to detect if the router or switch Ethernet interface is enabled or disabled. The idol mode for the router or the switch Ethernet port will be disable. If the interface becomes enabled I need the ENC28J60 to trigger a 555 timer. I have used LED-A pin in the ENC28J60 to trigger the 555 Timer.

However, when I connect my circuit to a PC, Router, or a LAN switch it is not working. LED-A is not working or the chip is not detecting the connection. Do I need to do any programming on the ship? please advice

Note: my circuit design is attached

But the link LED on the other side (switch, router, PC) does light up? Then maybe you chip is defect, because my LED on the ENC28J60 module lights up when a link is detected.
