about to make a homebroo board, for my bareboard/breakout board just hoping someone could give it the once over and check its ok

You need a 10K pullup resistor on the reset line (Pin 1) and the capacitors should be 22pf not 22nf.

thanks, i was intending to use 22pf, fit a 10k to +5?  is the 10k to stop the re-set from floating about?

Yes, the 10K resistor goes to +5 volts.  You do not want the Reset line to be floating.
