So i want to design a way to transmit an audio signal from a phone to a stereo.... I was thinking using an arduino with bluetooth.. send the audio signal through the bluetooth then using a headphone jack from the arduino to the stereo..... Is it even possible?

Yes, but you will might be disappointed by the quality you can accomplish with a standard Arduino with BT.

So maybe you should tell us more about your expectations ?

quality is not a huge concern although a concern still.. my main goal is to somehow be able to play music from a cell phone or ipod to our House sound system... I cannot seem to find any other alt. to this
