Does anyone have any experience with this shield?  It ~looks~ like  perfect solution to using quadrature encoders.

I'm a beginner in the arduino world ,but i had a plenty of DC motors with disc encoders from old matricial printers ,and i was looking for something like this,
I orderer two  last week ,and surpresely arrives yesterday, I'm in Spain, very quick in my opinion, I tested both today morning with the program they have in their web
and they did the job very good ,the disc are from 500 holes ,and i turn the motor with the hand ,and all runs good

I'm very happy with them.

I am very pleased with the encoder board, too.  This sure made a nasty problem very simple to handle.
