Been playing with the Raspberry Pi as well, but I don't think I will love it, it is just not real time enough.

i'm also playing with it, and with a stm32f4(it has a rtos). what os do you use?

It is a Linux distro debian6.
However, there will soon be a RISC OS version for, then it should really fly.

As for 32-bitters, I've just ordered some LPCXpresso boards (LPC1227) not the same league as the above of course but should be good to play with.
