I tried searching and couldn't find this answered already. I also read the Troubleshooting and Environment guides.

I have IDE version 1.0.1 running on Mac Lion. I downloaded some project code that was in a text .txt file.

Is there a way to import that to the IDE? I tried rename file to .ino but it doesn't load that way when I use File > Open.

Thanks in advance.

Copy / Paste?

You can also edit the .ino file and add/paste the text directly in there.

Then put it in a folder of the same name, place that inside the mySoftware folder and restart the IDE.
