Bigger Bigger Smaller Smaller Reset Reset

I'm building a CNC laser cutter using a Diecimila and a couple of EasyDrivers from Sparkfun.

I'm trying to get Grbl onto the Arduino, but I've only found vague instructions on how to do this with Linux. Can anyone help?

I have avr-gcc, avrdude, the grbl.hex file, and I'm using Ubuntu 12.04.

Thanks.

These steps worked for me with GRBL 0.8
http://opensourceecology.org/wiki/GRBL#Steps

Version .07
https://github.com/grbl/grbl/wiki/Compiling-Grbl

*NB: you will need to recompile & reflash after making changes, for example "config.h" file if you need to set up your pins etc (if default is not right).

I hope this helps, I'm only a newb too.
