Hi gang,

Always struck me that the IDE takes, like, forever to fire up. Today I timed it at 55sec from hitting the icon in my taskbar to an empty sketch.

Anyone feel like timing theirs just so I can see if mine's slow?

(IDE 1.0.1, Windows 7 Pro, Core Duo 2GHz with 2GB RAM.)

I don't know. It's one of my work PCs. It came from HP with Vista on it.

Yeah...

I tried again with it off... halved the time, but still 25secs or so.
