Hi,

i'am starting to create a basic alarm system with arduino uno board.

Now for the motion detection i want to use http://www.security.honeywell.com/hsc/products/sensor/mo/pi/18912.html

that motion detector.

Now i have read the datasheet of that detector and i know that it uses a 4 core cable 2 for power and 2 for the alarm relay . now the detector needs at least 12V DC but the arduino panel operates on 5V how do i supply the 12V DC ???

And then the 2 other cables are for the alarm relay.

How do i use that ? on the arduino board.

Also i know prety much on how to program i have programmed in java csharp and visual basic so the basics are not a problem for me
