hello everyone ...
sorry for my english, i'm italian
i want to realize a wireless home alarm systems using arduino, and to do that i will use a 433mhz receiver and the sensors(with built-in 433mhz TX) ... just do not know how to record the codes of the sensors, so that arduino reacts only with the pulses sent by my sensors, and not to any other 433 mhz device present in the area ...

thank you to all

Trigger your sensor.  Record what it sends.  Send that to Serial.print(). Write your sketch to look for that pattern.

If you want better advice you should provide better documentation for your sensors. :)

There are chips for that with a certain protocol.
I doubt if the Arduino is able to recognize that.
I have looked for it myself, but have not found it yet.

thanks a lot for your reply...

if i understand it...
if (Serial.read == mySensorValue)  {digitalWrite(13,HIGH);}

I don't know, but I ordered that same receiver a few days ago for the same purpose. I also want to know the status of our alarm sensors.
