Bigger Bigger Smaller Smaller Reset Reset

upgraded, and corrected... though i have some errors can you find me a solution please?
the components were corrected, (relay, decoder, transistor)
the resistors are different only because of hole spacing cause if i use the resistors in "horizontal" it takes much space, same goes for the diodes...

Thanks in advance

I added a decoupling cap on the power pin, added a header so you can ground the address pins (what I think you intended), and changed the resistor package sizes.
You had mentioned Rx/Tx parts, where did you intend those to go?

Rx/Tx part is your SV1(Receiver) http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/433Mhz-RF-transmitter-and-receiver-kit-Arduino-ARM-MCU-/230781136559?pt=UK_Sound_Vision_Other&hash=item35bba0aeaf#ht_1271wt_1110 the left one.

Maybe this can remove some doubts http://blogdonatanael.blogspot.pt/2011/12/criando-um-controle-remoto-simples-para.html. On this site, he says the cap is optional, so not required and since i need to make it as small as possible, i was not planning on include it, but do you think it should be there? what is the purpose of it?

About the power header, initially, i thought about a dip switch but its too big, the i just thought that i could solder only the one i need, but you had a great idea should they be connected with some jumpers?

Other thing i think im forgetting, the power supply, i would like, if possible, to have an easy power connector or something instead of solder the power wires directly on the board...

I can't see it mentioned in any reply so far, so try this for conversion from schematic to PCB layout. May be helpful.

CrossRoads, since you didn't replied me on my previous post, i changed the pcb like you can see on the attachment...
i had to remove the header cause it would make the board bigger than it must be...
i created two holes a positive and a ground so i can power the board soldering the wires in there.
Does it look ok? am i missing something?

Thank you

Sorry Maks, I thought we were caught up. I may have missed that one.
Will check out the files when I get home.

Maks, what is the purpose of the 8 grounded holes next to the IC?
I would think you'd want those connected instead to the IC pins 1-8, and provide an additional hole connected to GND. Then you could select which pin gets pulled low. See page 6 of the data sheet.
Or a couple of holes for GND  if you needed more than 9 address selections (all open, any 1 of 8 Low).

You also have room to make R3 the same package type as R1 instead of standing it up on end.
Right-click, Package, select 0204/7.
Same with R2, move Q2 up the board a little to make a touc more room.
I'd move D1, D2 up the board also, their bodies overlap the relay.

Are you going to want to connect an antenna wire? With these RF devices, that would be a simple piece of 17cm wire. I have just used a piece of 30 guage wirewrap wire in the past.
Add a hole for connected to the antenna pin on the RF device. Give yourself the option for it later on.

Im sorry for the delay, i've been outta time...

About the 8 grounded holes... that is the coding, i cant connect all because each will have a diferent code for comunication... i was planning on soldering the code as im soldering the rest of the components...
unfortunatly, i couldnt find a way about the size of the Resistors, cause when i do the DRC check it warns about dimensions... :S
the diodes the same thing... i dont know what to do... smiley-sad

I will fix it up again when I get home. Are the files in your Reply #21 the latest?

About the programming - you need 2 sets of holes. 1 set will connect to the pins. The other set will connect to ground.
If you only have 1 set, then you will have to solder a wire to the pin and then to a ground hole.
